ATOMIC GYPSY
ASHLEY JONES and JAMES HARRIS join forces for Atomic Gypsy, a high-energy, versatile duo.
Paired by local band leader, Marcy Kelly, to play Debussy and Jobim for a wedding ceremony, Ashley and James immediately hit it off. Both were trained classically but have very diverse skill sets. Individually, they have devoted their lives to music as teachers and performers. They get a kick out of rocking out, playing just about any song or style requested. Ashley’s on violin and James is on guitar. Both are on vocals.
Atomic Gypsy is available for all occasions.
CUADRO LATINO
Cuadro Latino is a production of Director Ashley Jones. With top-name, international Latino artists, this intimate six-piece band innovates a classic sound with the best in Salsa, Bolero, and Tropical.
Genres also include Merengue, Bachata, and original works by singer Eddie Rivera (who performed and recorded with The Fania All Stars).

VAL RAMOS FLAMENCO
Hailed as “the best of classical Flamenco brought to modern standards” (Rootsworld.com), “a hidden treasure of the Flamenco world in the Americas…superb musicianship..” (Flamenco Connection), and “simply brilliant” (Flamenco Buzz.com), this outstanding musical group represents the best of contemporary Flamenco music, song, and dance.
Established in 1994, the group features the unique talents of Val Ramos (lead Flamenco guitarist), JOSE R. RAMOS (Flamenco guitarist), KRIS JENSEN (flutist and saxophonist), CARLOS HERNANDEZ CHAVEZ (bassist), ASHLEY JONES (violinist), and MATT MOADEL (cajon player/percussionist). The ensemble often performs with international Spanish Flamenco singing sensation ALFONSO CID. The ensemble also performs with guest Flamenco dancers and other musicians from Spain and the United States.
FAITHFUL SKY
American folk musician and singer-songwriter HUGH BLUMENFELD leads this folk quintet spinning largely originals from Hugh’s vast repertoire. Ashley first performed with Hugh in 1994, before Hugh was appointed Connecticut State Troubadour in 1999. Current quintet members include JIM MERCIK (guitar), ASHLEY JONES (violin and vocals), MARK HALL (percussion), and JEFF BUCHBINDER (bass).
